Hotel Bahía del Duque is located in Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife. This marvelous volcanic island has a remarkable and exceptional climate with an average annual temperature of 23ºC. Teide National Park, which has been declared Natural World Heritage, rises above the island. The hotel is inspired by traditional Canary Island architecture of the 19th century. It covers a surface area of 100.000 m², and more than 63.000 m² of this area are tropical gardens. The different plant species contrast with the hotel’s location beside El Duque beach, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has been recently renovated coinciding with the opening of its 40 exclusive Villas and the extraordinary Thalasso-Spa. The elegant rooms in Hotel Bahía del Duque combine warmth and luminosity with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the exotic gardens that surround it. The interior decoration has been carefully planned down to the very last detail, incorporating the use of the latest technology to ensure that guests are comfortable and relaxed. Opened in 2008, the villas are built in an elegant, contemporary style using volcanic stone. Each Villa has its own private swimming pool, 24-hour butler service, à la carte aromatherapy baths and Bang & Olufsen music equipment. They have been decorated by the prestigious interior designer Pascua Ortega, using a meticulous combination of light, space and colour. The spacious living rooms, terraces and gardens complete the luxury surroundings that provide natural continuity between the indoors and outdoors. Las Villas private reception area has a reading zone, with views out to the main swimming pool, an exclusive area for Villa guests. Cuisine. The Hotel offers an extraordinary variety of cuisine in its 8 restaurants, highlighting Las Aguas, a gastronomic restaurant which offers offers creative Canarian cuisine based on local, seasonal products. For our younger Dukes. The Hotel’s architectural setting with bridges and walkways, gardens and swimming pools, and of course the beach, means that children can enjoy a true fairy-tale world. The games organized by the team of entertainers beside the children’s pools, and the Duqui Club, turn every moment of the day into an adventure. The Hotel provides a baby-sitting service for our youngest guests, available on request, as well as children’s menus at some of the restaurants. Teen Lounge is an area for our teenage guests at Bahía del Duque, equipped with a chill out zone with TV and a selection of movies, various board games, Internet, Wii, Play Station and a table football room.
